I’ll tell you what happens with impossible promises. You start with far-fetched resolutions. They are then pickled into a rigid dogma, a code, you go through the years sticking to that, out-dated, misplaced, irrelevant to the real needs, and you end up in the grotesque chaos of a Labour council, a Labour council hiring taxis to scuttle round the city handing out redundancy notices to its own workers. I’ll tell you.. You can’t play politics with people’s jobs and with people’s services.

I'm a small-time spin doctor with a messiah complex. Bored enough to think that sharing my thoughts with the world might be interesting. DisLikes: the loopy left of the cult-like factional kind, Liberal Democrats, the Conservative party and ideology and everything they stand for, Consensus. Likes: The city of Liverpool my home (spiritual and sometimes temporal), the Labour Party in all it's manifestations (at least most of them), my cat, a good argument, wine, pubs.

Delete all cookies, clear the cache and then press ctrl and f5 together to force your browser to do a full refresh.
If that doesn't work then, erm, don't make any typos so you don't have to go back in to edit it...

tried all of those things and there's still no facility to create links, upload pictures or anything. It's all disappeared. Bizarre.
